Top most veg Kabab in any Indian restaurant,that your kids will love.Enjoy this Hara Bhara Kabab loaded with green vegetables.

Ingredients:-  ( Serves 16 )

  • 250 gm Spinach / Palak
  • 2 tbsp Oil / Tel
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin / Zeera
  • 1 tsp grated Ginger / Adrakh
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli paste / Mirchi
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric / Haldi
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • Salt to taste / Namak
  • 1 tsp Mango powder / Aamchoor
  • 1 tsp Dry Mint / Pudina
  • 1/4 cup chopped green Capsicum / Shimla mirch
  • 1/4 cup Beans
  • 1/4 cup Peas / Matar
  • 1/4 cup Coriander / Dhaniya
  • 1 boiled mashed Potatoes / Aloo
  • 1 tbsp Corn flour
  • Some Bread crumb
  • 16-18 half Cashews / Kaju
  • Oil for frying

Method :-

  1. Blanch Spinach in boiling hot water for 39-49 seconds rand then squeeze it out.
  2. In hot 2 tablespoons hot Oil add Cumin and let it to crackle for few seconds over low.
  3. Add Ginger and Chilli paste,roast for a minute .
  4. Drop all the other spices including Salt and roast 1-2 minutes.
  5. Add all the veggies one by one iand sauté over medium heat till the rawness disappears.
  6. Before putting off stove add Coriander mix and then let the veg mix cool down.
  7. Grind it into a paste.
  8. Add Potato,Corn flour and 1 tablespoons Bread crumb to this veg mix to get a binding consistency.
  9. Grease you palms and shape small patties.
  10. In centre dig in a Cashew.
  11. Fry the made patties in medium hot Oil over medium heat .
  12. Strain serve hot with Tomato ketchup.

Tips :-

  • If you are not on a low oxalate diet straight away add spinach with other veggies.
  • Instead of Capsicum you can use Fuji chillies.
  • Instead of dry Mint you can use 1 tablespoons chopped fresh mint.
  • Instead of Bread crumb add Poha or Oats to make more healthy.
  • You can use Hara bhara kabab as a burger patties.
  • Colour of Cashew while frying will indicate how much to fry Kabab.
