Make this super easy tasty and healthy sprouted Kala chana chaat in just no time if all your ingredients are ready.High in protein and great weight loss recipe.

Ingredients:-

  • 1 cup sprouted Bengal gram / Kala channa
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder / Lal mirch
  • 1 tsp Chaat masala
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder / Zeera
  • 1 Tomato / Tamatar
  • 1 Onion / Pyaz
  • 1 Cucumbers / Khera
  • Curd
  • Sweet ‘n Sour Tamarind Chutney / Khatti Meethi Imli chutney
  • Green Coriander chutney / Dhaniya chutney
  • Sev bhujiya

Method :-

  1. Rinse and soak Kala channa in 2-3 cups of Water for 4-5 hours.
  2. Drain out Water and tie the channa in a clean wet cotton cloth.
  3. Keep the made sack hanged in hot humid weather.
  4. After 2-3 days steam cook the sprouted channa for 10 minutes either in a electric Rice cooker or a steamer.
  5. Let the Kala channa to cool down,then add and mix Salt,Chilli powder,Chaat masala powder,Cumin powder,chopped Onion,Tomato,Cucumber,Imli chutney And Dhaniya chutney.
  6. Take out to serve and before that spread Curd over it along with some more teaspoons of Dhaniya and Imli chutney.
  7. Sprinkle Sev bhujiya and serve this tasty healthy chatpati chaat recipe.

Tips:

  • If the weather is too hot keep the sack in a bowl placing a lid over it .Now keep this bowl in the fridge and let the Channa to sprout in 2-3 days.
  • If the sack gets dry sprinkle it again with Water to keep it humid.
