Potato Cheese fingers is a easy to make delicious snack recipe.

Ingredients:-  ( Serve 40 )

  • 500 gm Potato / Aloo
  • 1 cup + 1 tbsp Corn flour
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh Coriander / Dhaniya
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped Curry leaves / Kadi patta
  • 1 tsp Chilli paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 50 gm Cheddar or processed cheese
  • 1 tsp Chaat masala
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper ( Optional )
  • Oil for frying


  1. Make small slits in the potatoes and put them to boil immersed in water till they get tender.
  2. Let the potatoes come down to room temperature and then we will match them till smooth.
  3. Now add salt, Chilli paste, chaat masala,fresh coriander, Cheese and curry leaves.
  4. Next adding cornflour combine all ingredients into a soft dough.
  5. Roll out the dough into a half centimetre thick sheet and then cut thin strips out of it.
  6. Add the strips to hot oil and let them fry over medium heat flipping in between till they are golden brown in colour.
  7. Strain out over paper towel and serve hot with tomato ketchup.

Tips :-

  • To cook the potatoes you can even pressure cook them for about 4 to 5 whistles.
  • If you want the cheese fingers to be more crisp fried over a low heat for a longer time.
