Rusk can be called as a staple tea time snack for light hunger.Make it coustomized in your own flavour.

Ingredients:-  ( Serve 30 pieces )

  • 2 cup Refined flour / Maida
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2-3 tbsp Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Carom / Ajwain
  • 1/2 tsp Green cardamom / Elachi
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon / Dalchini
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup Oil
  • 1/2 cup Fresh cream
  • 2 tsp Vinegar
  • 1 cup Milk

Method :-

  1. Sifting flour mix in all dry ingredients.
  2. In a separate bowl beat Butter and Oil together and then add all the wet ingredients till you get nice fluffy batter.
  3. Slowly little ata time add the bowl of dry ingredients.
  4. Mux to get a cake batter.
  5. Pour in a greased cake tin lined with a butter paper or flour.
  6. Bake at 180°C for 30-35 min or until toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake come down to room temperature and then refrigerate it atleast couple of hours before cutting to get firm pieces.
  8. Cut in half to one inch thick pieces and then bake at 140°C for 40-45 min Ir until golden crisp.
  9. Serve and keep it store in an airtight container for a month.
