Ingredients:- ( Serves 8 )
SAUSAGES
* 2 tbsp Oil
* 1/2 tsp Cumin / Zeera
* 2 Onions
* 1 tsp Garlic paste / Lassan
* 1/2 tsp Ginger paste / Adrakh
* 2 medium Carrots
* 2 boiled Potatoes
* 1 cup Peas
* Salt to taste
* 2 Tomatoes
* 2 cups Water
* 150 gm Cottage cheese
* 1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder
* 1 tsp Coriander powder
* 1/2 tsp Cumin powder / Zeera powder
* 1/2 tsp Garam masala
* 1/2 tsp Chaat masala
* 1/2 tsp Oregano
* 1 tbsp Vinegar
* 1/2 tsp Green chilli paste
* 3 tbsp Bread crumb
* Oil for frying
SAUCES FOR LAYERING HOT DOG
* 1 Cucumber
* 1 Onion
* 1/4 tsp Pepper
* 2 tsp Pizza sauce
* 4 tsp Mayonnaise
* Salt to taste
FFOR ASSEMBLAGE
* 2 tbsp Butter
* Mustards sauce
* Tomato ketchup
Method:-
1. Add and heat Oil in a Wok / Kadhai.
2. Add cumin and let it to crackle.
3. Within few seconds add Onions finely chopped,sauté till translucent.
4. Then add garlic & Ginger paste.Saute again for a minute.
5. Add finely chopped Carrot.After Carrot gets tender add Potatoes,Peas and Salt to taste.
6. After sauting for 5 minutes veggies have become soft now add Tomatoes to it.
7. Then within couple of minutes add Water.
8. Cover and let it cook for 10-12 minutes or till tender.
9. Next add Cottage cheese,Red chilli powder,Coriander powder,Cumin powder,Garam masala,Chaat masala,Oregano,green chilli paste and vinegar.
10. Well mix everything cooking on medium for couple of minutes and then put off the stove.
11. Next grind this mix into thick paste.Add 2 tablespoons of Bread crumb for binding.
12. Make cylindrical shaped sausages applying little Oil over your palm.Coat with Bread crumb.
13. Drizzle few teaspoons of Oil over a non stick pan and then shallow fry sausages till golden brown.
14. Finely chop or crush cucumbers and onion then add salt to it and keep it aside till It releases water.
15. Squeeze out water from it and add Pizza sauce,mayonnaise,salt and pepper to it.
16. Roast the Hot dog buns in butter and slit them on top making a pocket.
17. Line the inner walls of bun with the made sauce and place made sausage over it.
18. Squeeze mustard sauce or tomato sauce or mayonnaise over it and serve hot.
Tips:-
– Vegetable mix should neither be too dry nor too wet.
