Poha Finger Sticks


Make this instant easy simple but still tasty snack.

Ingredients:- ( Serving 12 )

  • 1/2 cup Rice flakes / Poha
  • Salt to raste
  • 1 big Potato / Aloo
  • 80 gm Cottage cheese / Paneer
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric / Haldi
  • 1/2 tsp Chaat masala
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli paste / Hari mirch or as per taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh Coriander / Dhaniya
  • Oil to fry
  • Water as per required

Method :-

  1. In a mixing bowl add mashed boiled Aloo,mashed Paneer,Salt,Haldi,Chaat masala,Garam masala,Chilli paste and finely chopped fresh Coriander.
  2. Mix all the ingredient together adding Poha which needs to be grinded into a flour.
  3. This will now turn into a dough.If the dough does not come together or feels dry add few drops of Water to make it moist.
  4. Cover and keep to rest 30 min.
  5. Take small portions of the dough press and make it sift un your hand and then roll it into small sticks or say fingers.
  6. Fry in hot Oil over low to medium heat till crisp golden brown.
  7. Serve hot with ketchup or green chutney.
