Make a instant kheer for your breakfast in just 5 minutes.

Ingredients:-

  • 1 cup Rice flakes / Poha
  • 1-2 tsp Butter / Desi ghee
  • 4 cups or 1 Litre Milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped Nuts ( Mix of Cashews & Almonds )
  • 1 tbsp Raisin / Kishmish
  • 6-8 wet Dates / Khajoor
  • 2 tbsp Coconut powder
  • 1 tbsp Sugar / Cheeni
  • 1/4 tsp green Cardamom  / Hari elachi
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon / Dalchini

Method:-

  1. Thoroughly rinse poha 2 to 3 times to take out all the dust and dirt and then keep it over us sieve to get dry.
  2. Sauté all Nuts and dry fruits in the ghee over a low heat for 2 to 3 minutes adding Cinnamon & Cardamom powder.
  3. Next add Milk ,let the milk come to boil occasionally stirring.
  4. Cook Poha in Milk 5-6 minutes over low or till Milk gets bit thick in between adding Sugar.
  5. Poha kheer is ready.
