These Singhare Atta shakarpara are ideal hunger bursters for vrats,
Ingredients:-
- 2 cups Chestnut flour / Singhara Atta
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/2 tsp semi coarse crushed Black Cardamom/ Badi Elachi
- 2 tbsp Clarified Butter / Desi Ghee
- MilkÂ
- Vegetable Oil / Ghee
Method:-
- Thoroughly mix Chestnut flour,Sugar,Black cardamom and Clarified Butter all together till the flour turns flaky.
- Adding Milk little by little using Milk as much required make a stiff dough.
- Take a big size portion of the dough and roll it out into a thick 1/2 inch Roti.Use very little dry flour or preferably Ghee while rolling the Roti.
- Cut the thick Roti into Diamond shape.
- Fry in hot Ghee on medium heat till they turn crispy brown.
