These Singhare Atta shakarpara are ideal hunger bursters for vrats,

Ingredients:-

  • 2 cups Chestnut flour / Singhara Atta
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp semi coarse crushed Black Cardamom/ Badi Elachi
  • 2 tbsp Clarified Butter / Desi Ghee
  • Milk 
  • Vegetable Oil / Ghee

Method:-

  1. Thoroughly mix Chestnut flour,Sugar,Black cardamom and Clarified Butter all together till the flour turns flaky.
  2. Adding Milk little by little using Milk as much required make a stiff dough.
  3. Take a big size portion of the dough and roll it out into a thick 1/2 inch Roti.Use very little dry flour or preferably Ghee while rolling the Roti.
  4. Cut the thick Roti into Diamond shape.
  5. Fry in hot Ghee on medium heat till they turn crispy brown.

Tips:-

  • You can store these Singhara Atta Shakarpare for about 10-15 days.
