Til Ravdi Chikki

This is a recipe for Makar Sankranthi.An easy to make TIL ravdi.


  • 1/2 cup Sesame seeds / TIL
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Screwpine / Kevda Jal


  1. Dry roast Sesame seeds low-medium for 3-4 min or until it pops and colour changes.
  2. Melt sugar over low.Add Screwpine water .Mix roasted Sesame.
  3. Put off the stove.
  4. When still hot immediately spread it as much you like in one big portion as chikki or in small portions with help of spoon like Ravdi.
