There are various types of Vermicelli Semiya available and we are making the basic one that is made using Semolina.These small thin Indian noodles can be prepared sweet or sour.Here in this recipe we are making it dry as a Halwa.This Vermicelli halwa is also made in various festive occasion.
Ingredients :- ( Serves 2 )
- 1 tbsp Clarified butter / Desi ghee
- 1+1/2 cup Vermicelli / Seviya
- 1 tbsp Cashews / Kaju
- 1 tbsp Raisins / Kishmish
- 2 tbsp Milk
- 2 cup Water
Method:-
- Roast Vermicelli in butter till golden brown over low-medium stirring occasionally along with the dry fruits.It will take you about 5-7 minutes.
- Add milk along with Water,cook till Water dries and vermicelli gets tender but still a bit moist.
- Serve warm garnish with dry fruits.
Tips :-
- You can use Sugar or Jaggery.
