- 1 Tbsp Clarified butter / Desi Ghee
- 1 Cup Vermicelli
- Some mix chopped Dry fruits
- 4 Cups Milk. Doodh
- 1-2 Tbsp Sugar/ Cheeni
- ¼ Tsp Green Cardamom / Hari elaechi
- Stirring contineously on medium roast Vermicelli till golden brown.
- A few moments before Vermicelli gets golden brown add chopped dry fruits and let them also get little roasted in Ghee.
- After about 2 minutes of adding dry fruits add Milk and Sugar.
- Let this to boil over low to medium heat until Vermicelli gets soft and the kheer gets little thick.
- Add Cardamom powder, give a stir and switch off.
- Serve Vermicelli kheer lukewarm or cold.
- After the kheer cools down it gets more thick.
- Vermicelli kheer or Meethi Seviyan kheer, can be served lukewarm or cold.
